The ONE Canine Policy covers the life of higher-value dogs and is aimed at Breeders, owners of Imported Dogs; Medic Alert Dogs and Sniffer Dogs. ONE understands that owing to the increased cost of these dogs due to their genetics; training as well as the vital roles they perform could result in significant expense should losses occur. Ensuring that adequate insurance is in place, does however, go a long way to mitigating these losses.
Mortality cover for death owing to accidental injury, illness or disease; the criteria being that dogs are between the age of 6 months and 8 years of age
Humane euthanasia is covered, if performed by a Registered Veterinarian and confirmed in writing
All dogs need to be microchipped for identification purposes
A veterinary certificate of health is required at inception
